Joe’s pet scan results show cancer of 1/2 of his 3rd lumbar vertebrae. He incidentally has significant deterioration of the 4th lumbar vertebrae from so much sitting (which pinches those nerves inside the pedicles, resulting in a lot of pain). His course of treatment will be radiation and chemotherapy to prevent the spread and hopefully help build up the bone cells. Thankfully, this course won’t be as traumatic as the first round was.

He is gaining some victory over temptations and continuing prayers are much appreciated.
