Here is an update that we received from Pat Rider about Scott:

I just had a call from my daughter-in-law, Ralanda.

Scott had the echo cardiogram yesterday afternoon and it showed that he has left sided heart failure – the left ventricle is not working fully.  They are trying to schedule him today but possibly not until tomorrow for a heart catherization.  Based on what they find at that time, they will insert a stent or if worse, he will require open heart surgery.  His blood sugar has been brought down to a lower level due to medication but is still higher than acceptable.
